How We Calculate Your PC Rating

Your overall score is a percentile: it compares your CPU and GPU benchmark results against every processor and graphics card in our database. A rating of 70 means your build outperforms 70% of the hardware we track, based on aggregated scores from PassMark, Geekbench, 3DMark, and Cinebench.

The bottleneck analysis compares the two percentiles. When your GPU ranks far below your CPU, the GPU limits gaming performance and the page flags a GPU bottleneck; the reverse flags a CPU bottleneck. Within roughly 20 points, the build reads as balanced. This matters because upgrading the wrong component wastes money — a new GPU barely helps if the CPU is the limiting factor.

Game FPS predictions scale each game's measured benchmark data by your hardware's percentile position. Where your exact CPU+GPU pairing has been benchmarked, real measurements are shown instead of predictions. Predictions assume stock clocks, adequate cooling, and current drivers.
