1 What Are Cookies

2 Cookies We Use

Essential Local Storage (Required)

FPSBench itself does not set any cookies. We use your browser's local storage, data that never leaves your device and is never transmitted to our servers, to remember your preferences. These entries cannot be disabled without affecting core functionality.

  • theme-preference, Stores your light/dark mode selection so it persists across visits. Local storage, remains until cleared.
  • cpuView / gpuView, Remembers whether you last viewed the CPU and GPU list pages as a table or as cards. Local storage, remains until cleared.
  • fps-dashboard-systems, Saves the systems you have added to the FPS Dashboard tool so they are still there on your next visit. Local storage, remains until cleared.

Analytics Cookies (Google Analytics 4)

These cookies help us understand how visitors interact with FPSBench, which pages are viewed, for how long, and from what traffic sources, so we can improve the experience for everyone. Data is aggregated and is not used to identify individual users.

  • _ga, Distinguishes unique visitors. First-party cookie set by Google Analytics, persists up to 2 years.
  • _ga_GDWMWHW6WW, Preserves session state and helps Analytics understand how you arrived at the site (e.g. from a search result or another website). First-party cookie set by Google Analytics, persists up to 2 years.

Advertising Cookies (Google AdSense)

These cookies are used by Google's advertising services to serve ads, limit how often you see the same ad, and (where personalized advertising is enabled) measure and tailor ads based on your browsing history across websites. We do not have direct control over these cookies.

  • __gads, Measures ad interactions and helps prevent fraudulent ad activity. Set by Google on our domain, persists up to 2 years.
  • __gpi, Google Publisher Identity cookie, associates ad activity with your ad interactions on this site. Set by Google on our domain, persists up to 2 years.
  • IDE / test_cookie, Third-party cookies set on doubleclick.net domains when personalized advertising is active. Used to serve and measure personalized ads (IDE, up to 13 months) and to check whether your browser supports cookies (test_cookie, about 15 minutes).

You can opt out of personalized advertising through Google's Ad Settings or the NAI opt-out page.

Note: Clearing site data may affect the functionality of FPSBench, your theme preference (light/dark mode), saved list views, and saved FPS Dashboard systems will reset on your next visit.
