About FPSBench
Real benchmarks. Real expertise. Built by hardware enthusiasts, for hardware enthusiasts.
Our Mission
FPSBench was created to give gamers, builders, and tech enthusiasts a single reliable source for hardware performance data. We combine data from industry-standard benchmarks like Passmark, Geekbench, 3DMark, and Cinebench with our own in-house FPS testing across dozens of popular games.
Every data point is cross-referenced against multiple sources, verified by our editorial team, and kept up to date so you can make confident hardware decisions — whether you're building a new gaming rig, upgrading your workstation, or just curious how your hardware stacks up.
How We Work
Multi-Source Verification
We aggregate benchmark scores from Passmark, Geekbench, 3DMark, Cinebench, and TechPowerUp. Each data point is cross-checked against multiple sources before publication. When discrepancies arise, our team investigates and resolves them manually.
In-House FPS Testing
Our team runs real game benchmarks on physical hardware in controlled environments. We test at multiple resolutions and quality presets to give you accurate, reproducible FPS numbers. Our test rigs are regularly updated to cover the latest CPUs and GPUs.
Continuous Updates
Hardware launches don't wait, and neither do we. New CPUs, GPUs, and games are added within days of release. Our automated pipeline flags stale data, and our editors review every update before it goes live on the site.
